We built Applify AI after watching brilliant engineers—including ourselves—lose out on interviews because an ATS never let a human read their story. Helping friends optimize resumes manually proved the need for something faster and more intentional.

During our own searches in 2023 we sent well over one hundred applications and heard back from only a handful. Research confirmed what we felt: Applicant Tracking Systems filter candidates strictly on keyword math long before a recruiter ever looks.

Tailoring every submission became a part-time job. Reading descriptions, hunting for missing skills, and updating bullet points easily consumed half an hour per role. We knew there had to be a calmer, more data-backed way to do it.

We spoke with teams running existing resume tools. The responses ranged from slow to nonexistent, so we built the product we had been begging for: AI that spots gaps, gives you wording that still sounds like you, and keeps a clean record of every version you ship.
